BHADARWAH: In a life saving
act, an Army jawan of 4 Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah volunteered to
donate blood on the request of Mr Arif Hussain of village Udrana, Bhadarwah.
Mrs Rifat Ara, wife of Mr Arif Hussain was battling with his life at
District Hospital Doda and was required to be immediately operated as per the
Doctors at the Hospital.
When Mr Arif Hussain found that help was not
forthcoming from anyother corners, he approached the Army Camp at Bhadarwah.
On hearing the request Havildar Santosh Kumar stepped forward and agreed
to donate blood. The jawan alongwith Mr Arif Hussain were immediately
moved in Army Ambulance to District Hospital Doda where the the donation was carried out.
