NOWSHERA: Jhangar
Battalion under the aegis of Tithwal Brigade organised a Medical Camp at Rajpur
Kamila in Nowshera tehsil. The medical camp was a part of Operation Sadbhavana
activities being conducted by Tithwal Brigade for the populace of border villages.
A large number of facilities
including medical, dental and ENT were provided. Free vaccination for typhoid
and tetanus were also administered and lady doctors carried out health check up
of women.
Sarifa Begam of village
Badhtor, aged 45 years had been complaining of decreased vision for
last three years. During the camp she was diagnosed as a case of mature
cataract and subsequently referred to the eye specialist for cataract surgery.
She expressed her gratitude towards army by saying that “the treatment has given a
new life to me and I am deeply touched by this
noble gesture.”

Battalion exhorted the locals to work towards peace and harmony in the State.
