MANJAKOTE: A quiz
competition for school children was organised by a Rashtriya Rifles Battalion,
under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force, Romeo at Government High School,
Sahadra Sharif. Children from 11 schools
from remote and far flung areas of Sahadra Sharif, Rajdhani and Shruwala participated
in the event.
The function was
inaugurated by Officiating Commanding Officer, Rashtriya Rifles who in his
speech exhorted that “General Knowledge and Intelligence is key to
success”.
Competition was organized for the school children under Senior and junior categories. Apart from the students, parents, Sarpanches and Panches Mr Mohd Arif Malik, District Education Planning Officer, Rajouri and Dr Mazre, Principal Government Diagnosis College, Thanamandi were the civil dignitaries who graced the occasion.

The competition culminated with
distribution of prizes to three winners, three runners and eight consolation
Prize Winners of quiz competition. Mr Alam Din, Headmaster, Government High
School, Sahadra Sharif in his speech expressed his gratitude towards the Army
for organising such educative and informative competitions. He expressed hope that such competitions will
propel the young minds to enhance their knowledge base to complete with the
best.
