ACE OF SPADE DIVISION CELEBRATIONS VIJAY DIWAS

UDHAMPUR: To celebrate the Indian Victory over Pakistan and independence of Bangladesh in 1971 War, 16 Dec is celebrated as Vijay Diwas. The celebration also commemorates the supreme sacrifice made by our brave soldiers and people of Bangladesh during the operations. 

To pay homage to the martyrs and the everlasting spirit, wreath laying ceremonies were organised today at Ace of Spade Division. Army officers, personnel led by Maj Gen KH Singh paid homage to the martyrs at the war memorial at Prayer Hill. 

 

The undying spirit of valiant martyrs who left a glorious trail of victory with their exemplary display of unwavering devotion to duty towards their motherland was solemnly remembered.
