ROMEO FORCE ORGANISES PAINTING AND DRAWING COMPETITION

KERI: In order to provide an avenue to students for expressing them hidden talent and imagination and to make them confident in expressing their thoughts on paper through painting, a Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Romeo Force organized a painting and drawing competition at Govt Middle School, Namblan today. 

Students from 6th to 8th class were put in first category and students from 3rd to 5th class were put in second category. The theme for senior category was ‘National Integration’ and for junior category ‘Save the Environment’. More than 100 students participated in the competition and displayed their artistic talents. The students took active interest and were full of enthusiasm to showcase their talent and they put in their best effort.   

The beautiful and imaginative drawings made the event all the more colorful.  The idea expressed by the students during the course of the event showed the increase in awareness levels among the students towards the National Integration and social environment. Some of the students surprised the judging staff by their hidden talent and ingenuity in drawing their thoughts on paper.   

The event was witnessed by eminent citizens and school staff of the nearby villages.   Mr Khadam Hussain Principal, Govt Middle School, Namblan presented the vote of thanks and expressed profound gratitude towards the army for organising such positive thought provoking event.  The event culminated with distribution of prizes to all participants as a token of appreciation for their efforts.
