RAJOURI: Ace of Spades Division organized Pulse Polio Immunization from 19-21
Feb 12 at various remote and far-flung areas in Rajouri &
Punch Sector for all children of locals of these places as well as soldiers.
Children of soldiers were also administered the drops.The aim of the campaign
was to provide hundred percent coverage to all children which will go a long
way to achieve the goal of Polio eradication from the country.
454 children of
upto 5 years were given Polio drops. Adequate
publicity contributed to the heavy attendance. The event was a great success
despite cold and uncongenial weather conditions. The effort was appreciated
by civilians residing in inaccessible and difficult areas in this sector.
