ASSISTANCE RENDERED BY 24 RASHTRIYA RIFLES FOR RECOVERY OF AMBULANCE
KANGAN: At
around 11 A.M. an ambulance, JK 01 F 9182 of Primary Health Centre,
Wangat rolled down about 20 feet below the road at village Poshkar in
Kangan due to heavy snow fall. The ambulance carried a three year old
patient Shazia, along with her father, sister and the driver
who was transporting the patients from Wangat to Kangan. The driver
Mohd Yusuf of Wangat has been admitted in Sub District Hospital, Kangan.
On coming to know of this, 24 Rashtriya Rifles (BIHAR)
extending their cooperation to the AWAAM undertook the recovery
efforts, unshaken by the inclement weather and heavy snow fall. The
exercise lasted for about five hours and ended with the recovery of the
ambulance. The Block Medical Officer, Kangan and locals appreciated the
efforts of the
Army.
