117 INF BN (TA) THE GUARDS ORGANISES MEDICAL CAMP


SRINAGAR: Facilitating medical and healthcare for the Awam, an area where the Army has been putting in a lot of efforts.  To enable this, Army has launched an initiative under Sadhbhavana and has been organising free medical camps for the populace.  As a part of this initiative, a medical camp was organized by 117 Inf Bn (TA) the GUARDS at Govt Boys High School, Balhama on 15 Feb 2012.  
 
Commanding officer, 117 Inf Bn (TA) the GUARDS, inaugurated the medical camp.  A large number of patients from adjoining villages of Khunmoh, Zawoora, Wuyan and Khrew attended the medical camp.  A lady doctor was present to attend to the ailments of ladies.  
 
A dentist attended to the dental health problems of the populace.  Free medicines were distributed on the occasion.  The locals and village elders were all praise for the Army for conducting the medical camp and expressed their gratitude for the same.
