ARMY ASSISTS LOCALS IN REPAIRING SNOW CUTTING MACHINE

BHADERWAH: Amongst the large number of initiatives being taken to assist the AWAM, the 4 Rashtriya Rifles once again came to the fore and carried out repairs to the Snow Cutting Machine held with Public Works Department at Bhadarwah. 

The incessant and unexpected snowfall during the season adversely affected the road communications which are the life-line of the people.  The snow cutting machine is an essential commodity which helps clearing snow from the roads and restoring traffic movement.

On receiving a request from the Public Works Department, a team of vehicle mechanics immediately addressed the problem and repaired the machine.  Mr Ajit Kumar, JE of Public works Department thanked the Army for the assistance and remarked, “The mechanics for repairing the machine are not available in Bhadarwah and he is grateful to the Army to have provided assistance in such demanding circumstances”.
