‘FLAGGING OFF’ CEREMONY : CARAVAN AMAN

POONCH: Commander, Krishna Ghati Brigade in a vibrant ceremony flagged off an Educational cum Motivational tour for the children of Vill Jhallas, salotri and Ghani of District Poonch (J&K).

The tour   is being organized as part of Op Sadbhavana by the Krishna Ghati Brigade under the aegis of ‘Ace of Spades Division’ and consists of 23 school children accompanied by two teachers.  The students will visit Delhi, Agra, Gwalior and Bhopal.  

The children are from the villages of Jhallas,  Salotri, Dara Dulian and Ghani close to the Line of Control.  The aim of this tour is to acquaint these children about the rich heritage of our nation and increase their awareness about the culture, traditions and economic prosperity of the country. 

The   tour also aims to develop a spirit of travelling and adventure among the students. While interacting with the students the commander called upon them to utilize this opportunity to increase their awareness and develop themselves as responsible citizens of the country.  He also stressed on the   importance of youth in ensuring the progress and prosperity of state which is witnessing a phase of peace and stability over the last couple of years.
