DISTRIBUTION OF COMPUTERS AND SCHOOL FURNITURE TO SCHOOL UNDER OPERATION SADBHAVANA

KHOUR: The joy and enthusiasm was perceptibly visible on the faces of the students from remote areas of Akhnoor sub Division on receiving the computers, school furniture and other basic amenities via Army.

              

A Unit of Bawan Brigade under the aegis of the Crossed Swords Division distributed computers, school furniture and other basic amenities to Govt Middle School Bararoh which was widely acclaimed by the school authorities and the locals alike. 

The distribution was carried out by Brigadier Mukul Bhandari, Sena Medal, Commander  Bawan Bde in an impressive ceremony held at Govt Middle School, Bararoh on 24 Dec 2011.    

The Commander emphasized the need for educating students in computer skills to confront the technical and educational challenges lying ahead.  The availability of computers under Op Sadbhavana at Middle school level will open windows of opportunity for knowledge and advancement in higher education.  

This gesture will go a long way and help turn the haziness of modern technological wherewithal into certain enlightenment in the minds of young-ones, who will be able to handle the computers naturally and significantly, at young age.  The event was attended by the Smt Padama Dodkar, Zonal Education  & Planning Officer, Khour Block,  Sh Babu Ram, Naib Tehsildar, Khour Block, and Sh Kuldeep Kumar, Head Master, Govt Middle School Bararoh.

The event culminated with an interaction of Students and Teachers with Army authorities in a tea function.
