SRINAGAR: ‘AWAM AUR JAWAN AMAN HAI MUQAM’-In an effort to strike a common chord with the local population, 21 Rashtriya Rifles (GUARDS), under the aegis of  Headquarters 7 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, conducted a free Medical camp at  Vill Bunawadar, in the Rajwar region of Handwara Tehsil, on  01 Mar 2012.

The camp was organised with an aim to provide basic health care facilities and free medicines to the people, residing in this remote region which is now fully cladded with snow. Situated deep in the hinterlands of Rajwar, the populace living in the areas around Bunawadar, do not have an easy access to basic medical care and this camp went a long way in providing medical aid to the people.

A total of appx 400 people were given treatment/advice by the doctors. It is pertinent to mention that efforts like this will go a long way in achieving the ultimate aim of good health and prosperity in the area.
