BANDIPURA SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (ATHROUT) VISITS TAJ VIVANTA, HOTEL RESIDENCY AND CAFÉ COFFEE DAY SRINAGAR

BANDIPURA: Skill Development Programme, “ATHROUT” (HELPING HANDS) is being run under Indian Army Sadhbhavana and Dr Reddy’s Foundation at ITI Bandipura since 16 Dec 2011. Training is being imparted in three domains i.e. Information Tech Enabling Services (ITES), Customer Relations and Sales/Retail (CRS) and Hospitality.  
 
A total of 80 unemployed graduates of Bandipura are attending the programme.  09 Feb 12 was a big day for 17 students of Hospitality domain as they were taken on an educational tour to Hotel Taj Vivanta, Hotel Residency and Café Coffee Day in Srinagar. Officials of these Hotels briefed the students on their property and professional work.  Taj Vivanta also catered for the lunch of the students and their instructors.  The students returned back highly motivated with eagerness and aspiration to join the hospitality industry immediately on termination of their training on 02 Mar 2012.
