52 RASHTRIYA RIFLES ORGANISES EX SERVICEMEN RALLY

BARAMULLA: An Ex-servicemen rally was organised by 52 Rashtriya Rifles at Uplona (Baramulla) on 15 Sep 11.  The aim of the rally was to interact with the Ex-servicemen and Veer Naris of the area as also to disseminate important information pertaining to them issued from time to time by Central and State Government agencies/offices.   

Stalls/info booths of CHS, ZSWO, J&K Bank, SBI, HDFC, DPDO and Army Recruiting Offices were established at the rally site to provide information/assistance on various issues of interest including employment opportunities.

During the rally, specialist medical facilities was also provided to the Ex-Servicemen and their dependent.  250 Ex-servicemen including civilian invitees and 04 Veer Naris of the area attended the rally.  63 students/youth were provided information on recruitment into Army and the recruitment schedule.  The students were also appraised about the training programme being run by 52 Rashtriya Rifles.
